Licence Applications for Felling, Afforestation, Forest Roads and Aerial Fertilisation – 2020 Register of Decisions

  • The main reasons and considerations on which the decision to grant or refuse an approval is based, and where conditions are attached to any grant of approval, the reasons for the conditions,
  • A description of the measures to avoid, reduce, and if possible, offset any major adverse effects of the development,

Decisions can be appealed to the Forestry Appeals Committee, Kilminchy Court, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, R32 DTW5. Phone: 0761 064 418 or 057 8631900.

Appeals must be in writing, setting out the grounds and including a statement of the facts and contentions upon which the appellant intends to rely, along with any documentary evidence s/he wishes to submit in support of the appeal.

An application to review the substantive or procedural legality of a decision may be made by way of application for judicial review under Order 84 of the Rules of the Superior Courts (S.I.
