CAP Public Consultation Process
After extensive negotiations, one of the most significant reforms of the CAP since its beginnings in 1962, will take effect in 2015. As a result of the flexibility allowed to Member States, a number of decisions are required concerning the application of direct payments in Ireland. The Minister is committed to undertaking a comprehensive process of consultation with all relevant stakeholders to ascertain their views on the most appropriate application of the new Pillar 1 regime. To assist in this process, there are four documents below to assist in deliberations and for written views to be given:
- Cover Letter for Consultation Paper July 13 (doc 32Kb)
- Consultative paper 29 July 2013 (doc 100Kb)
- CAP Outcome Details 30 July 2013 (doc 114Kb)
- Financial Ceilings under the Direct Payments Reg July 13 (doc 54Kb)
The closing date is Friday 20th September 2013.
