Text alerts issued in 2012

2012(1): The first message, issued 16/4/2012, contained the following text

"The Dept. of Agriculture Food & the Marine intends to use this number to send you information messages in the future.  To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123"

This text was issued to a further set of mobile numbers on 25/7/2012.

2012(2): The second message, issued 9/5/2012, contained the following text

"D/Agriculture message: Important! Closing date for 2012 SFP Tuesday 15 May. (Please ignore if form already submitted). To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123"

2012(3): The third message, issued 14/5/2012, contained the following text

"Reminder!Closing Date for 2012 SFP is tomorrow,15 May(Please ignore if form already submitted or an overlap has occurred) To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123."

2012(4): The fourth message, issued 23/8/2012 to approx 8,000 customers, contained the following text

“Interim N&P statements now on agfood.ie. Your details on 31/07/12 are Nitrogen xxxx kgs, Area xx.xx ha, NPH xx.To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123”

2012(5): The fifth message, issued 12/10/2012 to all those SPS eligible customers who have given us permission to use their mobile numbers, contained the following text

"D/Agri:2012 SFP payments start next week:further texts asap. Pls be patient.Email queries to SPS2012@agriculture.gov.ie To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123"

Further texts issued to customers in the weeks following as their payments were processed.

"D/Agri: 2012 SFP: Your 50% advance has issued. Check your Bank A/C over the coming days. To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123"

The following is the text of a press release issued 17/10/2012 which mentions the Department SMS text alerts: COVENEY LAUNCHES €538 MILLION SINGLE FARM PAYMENT RUN

A message issued on 30/11/2012 to Suckler Welfare Customers who have given us permission to use their mobile numbers containing the following text

D/Agri: Suckler Welfare Scheme: Please submit all your Measures immediately to be considered for payment in December.To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123

A message issued on 3/12/2012 to Nitrates Customers who have given us permission to use their mobile numbers containing the following wording.

“Nitrates reminder: Livestock manure export forms (Record 3) must be submitted to Nitrates Section by 31 December 2012. To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123”

A message issued on 4/12/2012 to some SPS Customers who have given us permission to use their mobile numbers containing the following wording relating to balancing payments.

“D/Agri: 2012 SFP: Your 50% balance has issued. Check your Bank A/C over the coming days.  To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123”

A message issued on 14/12/2012 to over 14,000 Grassland Sheep Scheme farmers notifying them of impending payments. It contained the following wording

"D/Agriculture: 2012 Grassland payments are issuing. Check bank a/c over the coming days. To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123"

SMS messages containing the following text issued from Oct 18th 2013 to all eligible Herdowners who have signed up for notifications.

"D/Agri: 2013 SFP: Your 50% advance has issued. Check your Bank A/C over the coming days. To opt out freetext DAFM OPTOUT to 50123"
