Chapter 4: Legal Basis

Introduction

The legal basis for the control of CSF is found in the Diseases of Animals Acts, 1966 to 2001 and the Classical Swine Fever Order, 2002. This chapter summarises the legal basis for the control measures, the notices that must be served and the powers of authorised officers.
